Hey There!

I'm Charli Warren, a senior at James Madison University pursuing a BBA in Marketing. I love building brands and using social media in creative ways to genuinely connect businesses with the people they want to reach.

On campus, I stay involved as a member of Madison Business Society and an employee at the University Recreation Center as a Site Manager. At home in North Brunswick, New Jersey, you’ll find me spending time with my friends and family. I always try and incorporate a run or a trip to the gym in my day-today life.

After graduation, I hope to find a role in the marketing world where I can explore new places and broaden my scope of knowledge in the field. I would love to work in digital marketing, helping companies form deep connections with new and existing clients

Campus job

To keep myself busy at school I got a job at The University of Recreation(UREC). My first on campus job was being a  referee here, officiating intramural sports. I decided to challenge myself and apply for the manager position. I fortunately got it and have been nothing but grateful for the opportunities this job has gave me. As a Site Manager I work alongside about a group of 22 other managers who oversee the intramural games and officials, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Soccer team growing up

My favorite way to stay active growing up was playing soccer. I started when I was very young, and it’s where I met many of my lifelong best friends. It’s hard to put into words how much the sport means to me, soccer has shaped my life in countless positive ways and continues to be something I deeply cherish.

I had the privilege of serving as a First Year Orientation Guide (FROG) during my time at JMU, and it was truly one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I guided a group of 35 first-year students around campus and downtown, helping them get comfortable with their new community. Supporting them through the chaos and emotions of move-in felt like a full-circle moment, especially since I remembered feeling just as overwhelmed when I was in their shoes only a few years earlier.
